Description

112 is Hungary’s general emergency number for situations requiring immediate help from the police, ambulance service or fire and disaster management services. It should be used when someone’s life, physical safety, property or immediate surroundings are in danger, for example because of serious illness or injury, an accident, fire, violence or another urgent emergency. The operator will normally ask for your location, what happened, who needs help, whether anyone is in immediate danger and how many people are injured. The service is available 24 hours a day.
